EUROELECTROMEC 14

The physical principle of electrical discharge machining is based on the property of the electric arc of picking up small particles from the positive pole when a direct current source jumps between the positive and negative pole. In the discharges are obtained current densities that reach several million amperes per square millimeter and are of very short duration. The positive pole, in the machines of machining by EDM, is the piece and the negative the electro-tool. The mission of the dielectric liquid is to facilitate the electric discharge and to cool the tool and the piece. With this EDM fluid, a favorable material removal capacity is achieved both in the roughing process and in the refining process, and the wear observed in electro-tools is small.

  • Synthetic dielectric liquid of low viscosity, high purity and great cooling power.
  • Outstanding cleaning capacity of the machine tool and great power of elimination of metal shavings.
  • Non-staining product for yellow metals, without odor or color and free of sulfur and aromatic compounds.
  • Low evaporation rate due to its narrow boiling range.
  • Prevents the formation of vapors thanks to its high flash point.
  • Excellent stability to aging that allows to increase the life of the fluid in service.
